About 785 Insulation

I'm Royce Dixon. I started 785 Insulation because Manhattan and the Flint Hills deserve a crew that actually lives here, answers the phone themselves, and treats every job like it's going into their own house. That's still how we run things.

Our Story

Why We Started This Company

Garrett, Dustin and I have spent our careers working with our hands, and spray foam is one of those jobs where you actually get to see the difference you made the same day you made it. There's something satisfying about watching a wall go from bare studs to fully sealed in an afternoon, knowing that homeowner is never going to feel that draft again come January.

Manhattan and the Flint Hills are home. When we started 785 Insulation, we wanted a crew here that people could actually reach — not a call center, not a franchise truck that rolls through once and disappears. If something about a job isn't right, you can call the number on the truck and get me, not a voicemail box.

We work on homes, farms, shops, and commercial buildings across this part of Kansas, and every one of them gets the same thing: an honest look at what the building actually needs, a straight answer on what it'll cost, and a crew that shows up and does the job right the first time.

Who You'll Meet on Site

Meet the Crew

This is the same small crew on every job — no rotating subcontractors, no unfamiliar faces showing up on install day.

Owner & Lead Installer

That's me on most job sites, and I run every estimate personally. If you call 785 Insulation, there's a good chance you're talking to the person who's actually going to spray your job.

Garrett Nelson, owner and installer

Garrett Nelson

Owner & Installer

Garrett runs jobs alongside me and handles a lot of the detail work — tight attic access, tricky angles, and making sure corners and edges get the same coverage as the open wall.

Dustin

Installer

Dustin handles a lot of our prep and cleanup — masking off what needs to stay clean, protecting flooring, and making sure a job site looks like we were never there when we leave.

How We Work

What You Can Expect From Us

A Straight Answer

We tell you what a job actually needs, not what's easiest to upsell. If a space doesn't need closed-cell foam, we won't sell you closed-cell foam.

We Show Up When We Say We Will

Kansas weather is unpredictable enough. Your appointment shouldn't be.

We Protect Your Property

Floors covered, wiring checked, overspray masked off before we start, and the site cleaned up before we leave.

We Stand Behind the Work

If something about the install isn't right, we come back and make it right. That's not a marketing line, it's how we run the business.
